A 6 week oil painting workshop for beginners and improvers, focussing on portraits and figures. I will be breaking down the mysteries of oil painting and putting them into simple steps for you to follow. Throughout the 6 weeks you will be learning how to start a painting, how to mix colours, how to see like an artist and break things down into simple shapes, and how to make mistakes that lead to real improvement.
You don't need to have any experience for these classes and I particularly love teaching people who think they "can't paint / draw"
Some materials will be provided, though I recommend you get yourself:
- A tabletop easel
- A set of brushes
Classes will be held on Tuesdays 10am - 12pm at the LSA Art Room, Leamington Spa. Unfortunately, unattended classes cannot be refunded.
